CREATIVE BY NATURE, DRIVEN BY IDEAS, POWERED BY ENTHUSIASM

Every business has a story.

EJ is working with a man in a dark blue work overalls labeled 'Fineshade Engineering' on a copper vintage car radiator on industrial equipment in a workshop. Two other workers are visible in the background operating machines.
She is a small business owner’s dream.

This is where you get to know me

So here goes! I actually spent 20+ years in hospitality and management before pivoting into marketing - so I really know what it's like to juggle a hundred things at once, problem-solve quickly, deal with people all day, and care juuusst a bit too much about getting things right.

I'm an eldest-child Virgo, which means I will absolutely deep dive your business and industry, ask far too many questions, and come back with more ideas than you asked for. Fair warning.

My best thinking usually happens outdoors and off screen - somewhere between the lunchtime dog walk in any weather or at 2am after dream-working in my sleep. Again.

But enough of my own words…

  • She is full of ideas, when she has something in her mind she will make sure that it's done to the highest standard.

    - Melissa

  • "Her attention to detail is exceptional, but its matched by her commitment to fully understanding your brand."

    - The Canine Collective

  • "Not only does she create beautiful, high-quality websites, but they are also highly functional, brand-centric, and optimised for full exposure. She is a small business’s owners dream, and I wouldn’t be where I am now without her time and dedication."

    - Sally

  • I never have any doubt about the amount and level of work EJ puts into the business and her clients. In fact I have to tell her to stop working sometimes.

    - Melissa

  • "I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with than EJ."

    - The Canine Dietitian

  • "Love this and happy to go with it...EJ you always work your magic!"

    - Charlotte

The unofficial list

EJ has short brown hair and a brown turtleneck taking a selfie in a home office. Behind her is her white desk layout, a beautiful little shelfie with natural treasures on it like rocks and shells with greenery in the background through the windows.

Ok, this is the good stuff that goes beyond the sales pitch. Because for me, who you work with matters just as much as what they can do for you.

  • Trees are genuinely my version of therapy. I work from a little garden space overlooking fields in Little Harrowden, with endless wildlife action to watch - I believe they call it twitching?!

Fresh air untangles most problems. If a strategy session ends up outside, I’m 100% in and bringing snacks.

  • I’ve been told for decades I was born in the wrong era. An ‘old soul’ apparently. Honestly, not mad about it! I just lovvvve cool old things with history. Objects that have lived a life before they reach you. Oh the stories they could tell.

If it’s got an art deco curve, a chromed edge, or looks like it could belong in ‘74 (in a good way), I’m probably into it.

  • Magpie energy - but make it witchy.

Books. Rocks. Shells. Pinecones. Driftwood. Sea glass. Dried flowers (that I proudly grew myself and told EVERYONE about them).

I’ve never met an interesting stone I didn’t consider taking home. Go on, ask me about my allium fireworks.

  • They say a dog is like its human. Well I am human to a scrappy little border terrier named Pippin who has the noisiest bark known to mankind but will immediately be your best friend if you brought snacks. Make of that what you will.

100% ask about your dog or cat and quietly judge your answer (lovingly). This is the way.

  • Two wheels, four wheels - get me an engine, an open road and stinking playlist and I’m done.

Currently working towards my big bike licence to eventually graduate to something with a bit more growl - but for now you’ll spot me on my beloved Yamaha XSR 125. And yes, of course it looks vintage.

Things I won’t buy into: Throwaway culture. Performative hustle. Beans.
People who say they don't like dogs.

Are we right for each other? Let’s find out…

The *Highly* Scientific Compatibility Test

Five questions. Zero judgement. Okay, maybe a little judgement.

Question 1 of 5
1) What are you actually looking for right now?
2) What's your budget situation?
3) How do you feel about questions?
4) How do you like to work with people?
5) Pick one that sounds most like you.

You don’t need a total reinvention.

You need a nudge in the right direction…and maybe someone to stop you changing your brand colours again.
