What they needed
Simon and Lucy came to me through a local recommendation (you really can’t beat word of mouth!). After decades in the electrical industry, Simon was making the leap from full-time employment to creating and running his own business. They needed support getting their digital presence off the ground with a company page on LinkedIn and a proper website that would help him hit the ground running. Something professional, clear, and credible enough to win commercial contracts from the start.
What I did
After some initial conversations to get to know their business and budget, I took everything they told me and built the full website from scratch - structure, layout, copy guidance, the whole shebang while they focused on getting the business running. But it wasn't just about the site. I also helped Simon get set up on LinkedIn, transferring his profile, creating a company page, and advising on the kind of content that would help him build visibility in his industry. I also helped them with creating branded documents and various files. Once everything was live, I walked them through how to manage and edit the site themselves so they’re not reliant on me for every small update (although I'm still their first port of call - because even when you know how to do something, sometimes it's easier to just hand it over and ask someone else!). As they focus on growing the business, I look forward to supporting them with future marketing strategies.
